Suction Roll Rebuilds
We will repair or rebuild completely any OEM suction roll. Rebuilds include complete dismantling, high pressure cleaning of the shell, cleaning of parts, inspection reports, replacement (if required) of bearings, seals, deckle packings, sealing strips and air load tubes followed by reassembly, O. D. grinding and dynamic balancing. Midwest Service understands a properly maintained suction roll is essential in achieving your production requirements.

Variable crown rolls
We repair all makes and models of swimming rolls, piston zone controlled and controlled crown rolls. Our repairs involve static hydraulic pressure testing to insure the roll internals are operating at optimum levels. variable crown roll rebuilds include inspection of the internal seals, bearings, seals, o-rings and final grinding of the O.D. to specified tolerances.

Headbox Apron and Top Slice Lip Refurbishment
Our expertise in the refurbishment of apron lips and top slice lips is second to none. We have repaired many OEM apron lips and top slice lips ranging from 100” in length to 360” and in stainless steel as well as titanium bringing them back to a “like new” condition to allow additional run time in your headbox. Our 400” planer assures us we can do most apron and slice lips in use today.

Roll Grinding
We take pride in our roll grinding abilities. From high tolerance requirements in calender rolls to all types of rubber and poly we excel in quality and efficiency. General Roll Repair
